Yasai Works ("the developer") provides the Android app "Daily Jot Pocket" ("this app"). This page explains how the developer handles user information in this app.

Storage of notes and settings
Your notes and app settings are stored on your device. The developer does not collect the contents of your notes. However, data may be stored outside your device through your device’s backup features or when you save or share files.
Access to your device’s calendar
The device calendar display feature reads events with your permission. These events are used only for display within the app’s features and are not sent outside your device. The app does not create, change, or delete calendar events. You can revoke calendar access in your device settings.
Advertising
This app uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google collects and uses identifiers such as advertising IDs, IP addresses, app interaction data, and diagnostic information to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. We do not provide the contents of your notes or your search terms for advertising purposes.
An advertising consent form is shown when required. If “Ad privacy settings” appears in the app’s settings, you can use it to change your choices.

Fetching holiday data
To display holidays outside Japan, the app fetches data from the external service Nager.Date. The app sends the relevant country and year, and connection information such as your IP address is transmitted to the service as part of the request. The contents of your notes and your search terms are not sent.
Backup and deletion
Depending on your device settings, your notes and settings may be stored by backup services such as Google. Information stored with these services is handled according to their respective policies.
Manually created backup files contain your notes in a readable form. Anyone who can open a file can read its contents. Please take care when choosing where to save or share these files.
Deleted notes are moved to Trash. Notes that have been in Trash for more than 30 days are permanently deleted by the app’s automatic cleanup process.
Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. Device backups and files you have manually saved or shared must be deleted separately.
Children's Privacy
This app is not designed primarily for children. If you have any questions or concerns about how your child's personal information is handled, please contact us using the contact details below. We will review your concerns and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be announced on this page and the revision date will be updated.
